Inspection of Parts

All parts being received by Oregon Aviation must go through a quality inspection. All inspections must be completed in the designated inspection area. No part will be allowed out of the inspection area until it has passed the quality inspection

Inspection of incoming parts:

When a part is received from a vendor, the part must pass a physical examination and must have the correct documentation included before Oregon Aviation will accept it.

I. Physical Examination

-Visually does part have any signs of physical damage?
-Are the appropriate caps and plugs correctly intact? (see figure 1.1)
-Are the serial number and part number correctly labled?
-If part has a shelf life, is there 85 percent or more left?
